Two SNL alumnus got good news from TBS today. Tracy Morgan finally got word that The Last O.G. will get a third season on the network. The series co-stars it girl Tiffany Haddish. Ryan Gaul, Allen Maldonado, Taylor Mosby and Dante Hoagland will return as well. “We are so proud of The Last O.G.’s continued success,” said Brett Weitz, general manager of TBS and TNT. “This hilarious and heartfelt show has connected with fans and we couldn’t be more grateful for the big laughs that Tracy and the O.G. gang deliver each week.”
And Saturday Night Live alum Nasim Pedrad got the go ahead for her series, Chad. She stars as a 14 year old boy headed to high school in the series. A trailer is already available and you can watch it below. Chad is highly motivated to connect with the cool kids, and he’s got mom issues too- she’s out and dating and doing better than he is, socially. TBS ordered 10 episodes of the series.
